Baring Head planting day

There will be a major planting day on the 3rd July at Baring Head and I was wondering if any of your members would be keen to help.  Could you please get them to email me so I have an idea of number from providing coffee etc.

Your help needed in planting natives around trees at Baring Head.  Holes will be dug for you so bring, family, partners, the kids and friends.
Join the Ranger and Friends of Baring Head to help plant 2800 natives around the wetlands at Baring Head as this area has been recently retired from grazing .  
Please email mark.mcalpine@gw.govt.nz (& me firth@xtra.co.nz or text 021 422 698)  if you plan to come so we can contact you encase it is cancelled due to weather.  
 
When: Sunday 3rd July, 10am
Where: Meet at Baring Head Bridge Car park 
What to Bring:  Jacket, gumboots and warm clothes.  Gloves, but we have a some if you do not have your own.  Lunch if you plan to stay that long.
 
This will be a good PR opportunity for WHGPC – We’ve had heaps of flying at Baring Head and club support in appreciation of allowing access to the site would be a great gesture. Even if you can only make it for a few hours…it would be welcome help. We may even be able to work a couple of hours and fly the site for a couple of hours.
